DAWSON Scholarship Awards 2025

Jamestown, NY – August 28, 2025 – DAWSON SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDS 2025

Since 1980, DAWSON has been awarding college scholarships to children of employees who have been successful in their high school and college careers. The scholarships are competitive and independently awarded by outside educators.

This year we are proud to announce that there were five recipients of the DAWSON Scholarship Fund:

Sydney Dawson, Nickola Whitford, Jerzie Smith, Skyela Banse-Fay and Hudson Dawson.

Sydney Dawson is a recent graduate of Southwestern High School and is attending SUNY Oswego to begin her studies to pursue a teaching career. Sydney is the daughter of DAWSON employee, Justin Dawson.

Nickola Whitford is a recent graduate of Randolph Central School and is attending Alfred State to pursue a career in Culinary Arts. Nickola is the daughter of Spray-Tech Finishing employee, Nicholas Whitford.

Jerzie Smith is a graduate of Falconer High School and is attending JamestownCommunity College for her second year in Occupational Therapy. Jerzie is the daughter of DAWSON employee, Tabatha Smith.

Skyela Banse-Fay, a former National Honor Society graduate of Jamestown High School, will be attending SUNY Fredonia to continue her studies of Marine Biology/Marine Science. Her parents, Angela and Michael Galati, are both employees of DAWSON.

Hudson Dawson, a former graduate of Southwestern High School, will bereturning to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he will continue his studies in Mental Health Counseling. He is the son of DAWSON employee, Justin Dawson.
